Things to Do in Detroit This Weekend: Events, Markets & Must-See Places
Looking for things to do in Detroit this weekend? Start with current events, then explore 15 year-round Detroit attractions, museums, markets, parks and landmarks.
Trying to figure out what to do in Detroit this weekend? This guide combines two things most lists separate: a live feed of upcoming Detroit Found events and a dependable set of year-round places that are worth building a day around.
The event section updates from Detroit Found automatically, so it can surface current markets, networking events, festivals, workshops, holiday attractions and other local happenings. Below that, you will find museums, architecture, parks, markets and Detroit landmarks that make good weekend plans even when there is not a major festival happening.
We intentionally left Motown Museum off the current list because its official site says Hitsville U.S.A. guided tours are paused during its expansion until spring 2027. Detroit Found will revisit that recommendation when tours resume.
Always check the linked listing or official website before visiting because hours, ticketing and seasonal access can change.
